Iron Man Action Figure by manson26 Iron Man Action Figure by manson26
Iron Man's actually hanging from the bottom of the cupboards I was working on. Photoshoped out the strings that were holding him up. Used foil to reflect light on him from the bottom because the only available was from above.

This figure's head doesn't move so get him to look up I put his helmet on his head. You can kinda see Tony's face underneath in the neck area.

My friends kitchen has fluorescent lights that are under the top cabinets that shine light onto the counters. I tied Iron Man to the cabinets with thread so he is dangling under the light.

Then I had printed a big photo of sky for the background. I put that behind the figure. The light I was using was from the light that was over Iron Man. The picture kept coming out dark tho, so like I said in the description, I put a piece of foil to bounce the light back up to his chest. Hope that all made sense, lol.

And I used a regular digital camera. I bought the cheapest one for that class and it seems to work fairly well. I turn off the flash because it tends to wash out any color.

Hurm....
And I thought you've used a green backround to make that effect. But when a person dependes a lot on the fx the plot of the story, or in this case the visual art, is not good.
Awesome job thanks

Green screen! You know that never occurred to me. But I love toys so much I usually already have some of the settings I want that come with certain action figures. I have more photos of figures in my Flickr account in case you're interested!
